About Us

Cavendish Bakery is a busy and expanding bakery business in Eastbourne town centre.

Established over 30 years ago as Saffron Patisserie in Grove Road, we have built a great reputation and remain a family-run concern. We have two shops and cafes, plus a bakery and wholesale service.

This year we are adding to that with the launch of Bakerylunch.

If you work in the town centre and have internet access you can now order your lunch online in the morning and have it delivered to you at work by lunchtime - to find out more click on the link above.  

 

A bit of a twist!

We like to think of ourselves as a traditional bakery with a bit of a twist. By that we mean that we take pride in everything we produce. Many of our products follow traditional recipes and methods and are -

• hand made
• use high quality ingredients
• baked fresh every day

However, we're not stuck in our ways. We're always striving to produce new products, improve our service, the way we work and what we offer.

We have invested in a new look to kickstart 2007 and new packaging will help our products travel better as they leave our bakery. You may notice a second van out and about too. Combined with 'Thomas' who manages and coordinates our deliveries, it will mean we can be in more places at once and keep up with demand.

The team

Just like any other business going places, Cavendish Bakery would grind to a halt without a great team behind it.

Karen, our retail manager, supremely heads up a great bunch of staff and three shop managers who are based at -

• Cavendish Place
• Grove Road

We also have highly skilled and qualified staff making the products at the bakery ensuring that when we say fresh you get fresh. 

 

What next?
